Occupy Portland

Started in October, 2011, Occupy Portland maintained one of the longest running camps in the country before being peacefully evicted from Lincoln Park after more than five months of nonviolent, radical community-building. In the months since, Occupy Portland has continued to be at the forefront of the struggle to liberate Maine from the vice grip of multinational corporations and has organized tirelessly to secure access to education and healthcare for all.
